There aren’t many things I can put around my eyes because they are so sensitive. I usually stick with pure coconut oil mixed with vitamin e oil for an eye cream and I’ve only found one brand of eye liner that doesn’t make me tear up (Clinique) and two mascaras (the really cheap ELF and Mary Kay). Because of this, I always try new eye products on a day that I’ll be home and don’t need to go anywhere in case it causes an allergic reaction. I keep the hot water pulled up with a wash cloth next to the sink and some liquid benedryl for a worst case scenario.
So when I tried Adovias Mineral Eye Gel for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised. It didn’t have a strong scent like most of their products do, which is a huge plus to me. The phrase “a little goes a long ways” really counts with this product. The first time I tried it, I had a tiny dab on my finger and it was enough to cover both eyes and have some left over. Now I get it off by swiping a finger on the lid to get a tiny bit of residue. That tiny bit is enough for one eye and then I do it again with a different finger for the other eye. Since I have such sensitive eyes, I wash my hands before applying and make sure to use a different finger just in case.
This eye gel works by reducing puffiness and fine lines. It makes the skin around my eyes appear younger when I have it on. Not really brightening the skin, but somehow making it look more youthful. I think it’s witchcraft.
In case you have the same sensitive eyes that I do, I wanted to include a list of ingredients so you can see for yourself if there is anything in it that you wouldn’t be able to use. This is a really light gel that doesn’t weigh down on your skin but as the day goes on it will travel a bit so I don’t recommend putting it on your eyelids.

You can buy this directly from Amazon, along with all of their other products that I love like their shampoo and conditioner, their sea salt soap, or their fine sea salt that works so much better than the baking soda I used to use to scrub my face with. I LOVE Adovia’s product and will continue to use them for a long time.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
