I’m a bit of a lip product whore. I have tons of them because I constantly buy every new product that comes out in hopes that they’ll measure up to the perfect one in my head. They rarely do because most lip products dry my lips out pretty bad. It’s gotten to the point that I’ll lather on EOS lip balm before I go to bed in the hopes that while sleeping I won’t lick my lips or talk so the product can stay on there as long as possible.
I hadn’t tried collagen boosting lip glosses yet so when I heard about them, I might have squealed with joy. I admit to nothing though.
Collagen Booster Lip Gloss from Inventia is supposed to restore your skins natural barriers on your lips, blocking out things that will dry them out and keeping moisture in. Let me tell you, if more people in Texas new about this product, they’d all be flocking to purchase it. Our summers are dry, filled with sunlight, and involve a ton of water every year. All of these things usually lead to chapped lips.
Inventia made a pretty great product (that smells like strawberries) in that the first time I put it on I could feel my skin starting to heal. My lips love this stuff. Like all other lip products on me, though, it does still make them feel dry when it starts wearing off. That could be because I’m a smoker and it all gets rubbed off eventually before it can sink in. So I tried using it before I went to bed and lo and behold my lips felt great when I woke up!
I was pretty stoked!
The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was the fact that it comes in a little pot. I’m not a fan of dipping my fingers into something to put on my skin, the risk of bacteria getting into the products freaks me out a little. I just make sure that I wash my hands really well before use each day before I go to bed.
You can purchase this from collagen.in as well as see a list of ingredients and browse their other products (which all looks really fun, too).
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
