For the first post of a multi-part series each of our author’s is participating in, Amanda and I asked character-driven questions. Wednesday is A.N. (Aimee) Busch’s turn in the spotlight, and here she is putting herself in her character’s shoes:
[box] If one of the characters in your book had a password for something, what would it be?
I think for Westly it would be a given – Abby. For Abigail, as an adult, it would have something to do with her children or the name of an Architect that she loved the work of.
If your main character walked into Starbucks, what would they order?
Abigail would definitely have a Venti Mocha Frap.
Which character would you most like to meet in person?
In some ways I feel like I have met all of them already. But… if I really got to meet or hang out with one of them, I think it would be Melanie. She is such a levelheaded go-getter, but she had no problem letting go and having fun. As determined as she is to make it; she knows that her friends are her family, and that without them it would not be worth it.
If one of your characters (in either Tempting Fate or your upcoming novel) appeared on social media, what would they share as a status on Facebook or post as a message on Twitter?
Rachel from Tempting Fate, would have been obsessed with both of them. I could see her posting about her trips around the world, some hot guy she met, or sharing Instagram photos of her favorite outfits. She is so outgoing there is nothing that she would not share with her friends on a social media outlet. In Love on a Killer Cruise I think any one of the girls might use Facebook, but they would have one of those accounts where they only posted every once in a blue moon about something random and you would be like, “Oh hey, good to know you are still alive!”[/box]
