As I’ve been getting my school course work all situated in its compartment with my daily activities, I’ve neglected all of my TV viewing except “Glee.” Since both “Glee” and “New Girl” were both on hiatus for much of October, that only leaves me with 2 Broke Girls, PanAm, and Whitney to catch up on. I’m burning through the first of those three tonight. Thoughts:
- 9 hours of sleep and 9 inches joke – fake or not, loved the collective intake of breath at that one…better than a snare
- Celery moment – Awk.ward.
- Otherwise, this episode was just a lot of fun and further establishing Max and Caroline as business owners and Caroline, in particular, as more than bit astute when it comes to financial matters.
Wow! Loved the opening bit. These usually start with Max waitressing and this one was no exception. The way she smacked the old ladies down with the comment “you don’t get a bitch pass cause your old” was awesome…and more clever than some of the other intros thus far.
I kind of hope the vagina bed jokes will be a running gag (but not quite as much as this episode). I always like humor built around purposefully calling someone/something by a name other than its own. When I still lived in LaCrosse, all of the neighbors had nicks when I chatted about them with hubs because I didn’t know their real names.
I think the cupcake class scenes were funny, because it is great to see Max and Caroline actually bonding most of the time now. I also like that it gave them an idea for “naughty cupcakes.” Its gonna be fun to see if that holds out!
Hoarder Culture was good, but it was kind of low to find out Johnny had a girlfriend and the whole cleaning out the hoarder’s apartment was only interesting in that it added money to the cupcake fund. On to the current episode!
